New Testament context
Jesus offers living water, promises that a cup given in his name matters, and asks for water at the well. Physical thirst becomes a doorway to grace, welcome and eternal life.
Common misconceptions
- "Living water is a hydration rule." Jesus is speaking of the life he gives.
