What Scripture says
- Goat meat is explicitly permitted to Israel.
What Scripture does NOT say
- Nothing about goat meat being superior food for the body.
New Testament context
Goats remain familiar in Jesus' teaching, including the separation of sheep and goats in Matthew 25. The image concerns judgment and mercy, not the nutritional value of either animal.
