What Scripture says
- Vegetables are ordinary, good food.
- A humble meal eaten in love is better than a rich one eaten in strife.
What Scripture does NOT say
- Scripture receives vegetables as good provision and places love above a rich table; daily targets belong to wise present-day care.
New Testament context
Romans 14 names a believer who eats herbs and commands others not to despise him. Plant-based conviction can be honoured without being imposed as the measure of faith.
Common misconceptions
- "Vegetarian Christians are weaker or holier." Romans 14 permits neither contempt nor spiritual ranking.
